There are plenty of summer camps going on at Northwestern State in July and August.  These are great opportunities for Louisiana residents, particularly those near the Natchitoches area.

Join the Rockford Rampage professional soccer players.  The Major Indoor Soccer League’s Rockford Rampage will hold stellar soccer camps for young soccer players in and near Rockford, Illinois.  The price is very affordable at $125 for full-day campers, but the half day is only $75.  Everyone who participates receives a soccer ball, t-shirt, and a certificate.  Review the dates below:

There is still a good amount of open spots for basketball camps in Washington, DC.  For high school students here are two good options:

Girls Basketball Camp
Pallotti High School, Laurel, MD.
Age: 8 to 14.
Camp dates: June 28 to July 2 and July 12-16. 9 am to 3 pm (this camp does provide after care too).
Cost for camp: $150

Highlights: Fundamental skill focus, speakers, awards, t-shirts.  Run by Pallotti head coach Josh Pratt.

HoopEd Summer Basketball Camps
“Skills for Life”

These are small camps that include learning, fun, and lots of play.  It is not about getting tons of campers, but creating a small environment where kids get tons of playing time.

Ages: 6 to 13 – boys and girls
Cost: $195

Many locations: St. Ann’s Academy, St. Bartholomew School, Blessed Sacrament School, and Kendall Elementary School on the campus of Gallaudet University.
